Why fill in a PDF form online
Many official forms are a fillable PDF with real fields. Fill PDF form fields on screen and you no longer need to print them, write by hand and then scan them. The result is legible, with no crossings-out, and ready to send by email or upload to an online portal.
The tool works with PDFs that have form fields. If your document has none, like a scanned form or a simple printable page, use Edit PDF instead to add text to it. Once it's filled in, you can also flatten the form so no one can change the answers.
Frequently asked questions
Are my files safe?
Yes. Your form is processed in your browser. Nothing is sent to our servers, not even your answers.
Why can't I fill out PDF form fields in my document?
Your PDF probably doesn't contain real form fields. In that case, use Edit PDF to write directly on the page.
What does "Flatten after filling in" mean?
The fields become fixed content: your answers stay visible, but no one can change them anymore.
Can I sign the form?
Yes. Once the PDF is saved, open it in Sign PDF to add your signature.
Do I need an account?
No. LordOfThePDF works without signing up and without an email address.
