Why convert a PDF to PowerPoint
You received a presentation as a PDF and need to rework it for a meeting? When you convert PDF to PowerPoint, you get slides back that you can add to, rearrange or include in your own deck. The PPTX file opens in PowerPoint, LibreOffice Impress or Google Slides.
The conversion is done by LibreOffice: each page of the PDF becomes a slide, with its text, images and shapes. The result depends on the structure of the PDF: text is often split into several boxes and the layout may need touch-ups. A scanned PDF will give slides that contain only an image.
Frequently asked questions
Are my files safe?
They are processed on our servers and deleted as soon as the presentation is sent back to you. Nothing is kept, viewed or shared.
Does PDF to PPTX conversion give editable text?
Yes, when the PDF contains real text. It is sometimes split into several boxes, line by line: a bit of reformatting may be needed.
My PDF is a scan, will it work?
Each slide will contain the image of the page, with no editable text. Run the PDF through the OCR PDF tool first to extract its text.
Can I convert several PDFs at once?
Yes, up to 20 files, 50 MB each. You get the presentations back together in a ZIP archive.
Do I need an account?
